SPECIAL VETERANS’ DAY LUNCH at the Historic USO Building

Hot diggity dog, veterans! Come and get ’em this Veterans’ Day, Monday, November 11, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Historic USO Building. The Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert invites all U.S. military veterans to a special, free lunch featuring ¼-pound jumbo “Crumville” hot dogs, chips, salad and a beverage, served to veterans and their spouses. Just like HSUMD’s Veterans Breakfast, held the third Thursday of every month (that’s November 21 this month, from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m.) HSUMD Board Directors, John Abbott, Joe DePina, and Nick Rogers will be serving our honored veterans on their special day. Thank you, veterans for your brave service!
